just a short one, popped of to local little venue after employing new stragegy - wearing spurs instead of schooling whip, trying to keep contact clear and also having weekly polework lesson to improve meduim paces.
First test was a prelim and i though i rode like a sack of spuds
and was a bit pissy as I felt let horse down, got back to landie had a stiff talking too oneself and then warmed up for novice test. Now i thought that 2nd test rode beautifully and chilled, smiled all the way though his canter work (it's just soooo lush..........). Did rein back so smoothly 7 again
(very chuffed with this as 3 months ago when first started rein back we were having massive arguements with rearing
really very upsetting)
In end came 2nd in first test with 66%, and 2nd in second test with 64% and some really nice comments from judge. So came home with two really nice rossie again
Dressage is such a old funny game
