Small electric fence energiser.

I have a small length of electric fence - probably 50m, is there a small energiser that runs off a normal battery rather than a car battery?

I have one of these, runs off two D cell batteries. Works really well for short lengths if you have a relatively polite horse. I use it for trec corrals or shorter fencing lengths.

We have something similar, which takes D batteries, that can be bought in a supermarket.

Thank you everyone, he's quite respectful of electric fence so they should suit. It's to let him wander around the yard, he was fine all winter without it being on but has discovered he can barge through it when he wants so I find him in the garden.

I've always used Hotline: they do smaller energisers.

I have one of those that BBP suggested. It is very effective and I have had quite a jolt from it myself.
