Thank you all!! She has a lot of attitude for a shorty!! I think a lot depends on how they take up your leg - Cassie is in a wide fitting saddle, but actually doesn't feel that wide to ride. In fact she felt positively narrow when I got on her after riding my friend's gorgeous young highland mare. xx

I am a real shorty being only 4' 11.......have the joddy/long boot problems as well as other things only really short folk know.Here is a pic of me and my loan pony who is 13.1.....yes I know I look like a child ( wi an auld face !) I would have liked longer legs but alas I have to manage with the little pins I was given

I'm 5'2 and Ernie is a bit over 17hh I think. I felt tiny on him at first but I feel fine on him now
