My horse has a very small lump on his right front leg on the inside. It is just above the fetlock, where you'd normally see windgalls. However, differently from windgalls, it is hard to see and it is not 'puffy'. It feels like a small round ball or nodule and you can feel exactly where the edges are. It is definitely not a splint and does not look or feel like a windgall either. Could you please advise on what it could be? The horse is almost 5 years old, has never done strenous exercise so far.
