small lumps on body

HI, my horsey has small raised lumps on his body, mainly towards the back of his side (ie not under his saddle) They dont seem sore and he seems quite happy, but any ideas?

Sweat rash?? Is he over rugged?? Or been charging round the field in big rugs?

could anything be biting him in the field? My boy gets that alot....the flies have certainly started already!

My old girl got that when she had Barley in her feed...
It might be a heat rash,the weather is so strange at the moment and it gets very warm

I think it might be heat rash! He isnt over rugged but is a very hot horse. thanks guys

There have been quite a few posts on here this year about lumpy horses! Could be an allergic reaction, has anything changed such as feed, fields, washing powder, shampoo etc etc? My girl had them in Jan this year and Jan last year but still don't know what caused them?? Hope they clear soon.
