Hi, I am looking for fly rug recommendations specifically for small ponies. My boy is not only small heightwise (a shade over 12hh) but also quite a dainty build and very narrow in the chest & shoulders, and last year I had trouble finding one to fit. Aside from that -

: 5'0''
: integral belly flap/cover (a detachable one is no good, he had one of those last year and kept ripping it when he rolled!)
: a decent length tail flap as he does a lot of tail-rubbing
: neck cover which is generous in length, last year's one left the top of his neck exposed when he had head down to graze

Thanks

We love the Shires Maxiflow Performance Fly rug for ours. These are lightweight waterproof on the upper parts, with good quality dense mesh on belly etc. They are a great combo of summer turnout and fly rug.
They come up quite generous so buy one size smaller than usual.
They are great for our fly-phobic palomino Section B and grey part Arab tail swisher.
If you do order one make sure it is this style as several fly rugs in Shires range. Well worth the money.
