What do people do with these little ones ?

I had a third, lower set of breast and breech bar brackets fitted to my 510 by an Ifor dealer. Also the breech bar in this lower set could be fitted closer to the breast bar than the standard set, to suit short arses 🙂.
From memory I only have two heights unfortunately and picking up little man tomorrow

I'm picking up two rescue section A's in my Wessex Clubman at the weekend, (similar to IW), and have been grappling with the same issue. I was thinking of making a hanging panel of ply (free swinging) just to visually extend the full width breast bar by about a foot downwards, as well as wedging a wrapped haylage bale in the nose. I'm going to travel them loose together, which is slightly hair raising but the rescue have told me that this is what they normally do.

I cross tie my shetland in my ifor 510 by having string on the lower breast brackets, so he's still stood like a I would travel my big guy but with no breast bar.

12.1hh will be fine, we travel our 12hh welsh a in an ifor Williams trailer regularly and she’s fine on the lowest breast bar. Its doesnt sit in the ideal place on her but she can’t get under it!
