Small redworm blood test cost?

hi,

I was having a quick check on when I should do a tapeworm test and saw that the same company is now doing a blood test for small redworm which aso picks up the encysted stages. I just wondered if anyone had had one done and roughly how much it cost and if people think it is worth getting one done rather than just worming in Jan?

We did the whole yard when the test first came out. They were all positive bar one, so an interesting exercise for understanding a herd of 25! As we did so many it cost £30 per horse, as negotiated with our vet and the lab. Now it would cost £48 + callout. I take mine to the vet to avoid callouts
