Looking for some small cordless clippers for tidying beards, bridlepaths, ears, short feathers etc.
Has anyone bought any dog grooming clippers or similar cheap styles with success?

Well aware I could buy several £30 rubbish clippers and in the end should of just forked out a bit more for some decent ones.

If they are on amazon that would also be very useful!

TIA

i have a pair of masterclip trimmers and have been very pleased with them. i have had them for at least three years and they still work really well. i have had new blades and my boy has very little hair but i use them regularly. they are about £50 so not particularly expensive.

Thankyou!

The masterclip trimmers are a good price but a little wary as it says all over the description ‘not suitable for heavy/thick coats’ or ‘only suitable for light coats’ and main horse is hairy ISH...

Lister trimmers look good but at £90ish, I don’t know whether to just go for the Liveryman pro classics which I know are very good.

choices!

I have Wahl Adelar they are rechargeable and work well
The blades can’t be resharpened
I was slightly disappointed when one of the batteries stopped charging after just over a year
It was easy to get another from eBay but it’s was over £30
They are very light and easy in the hand
If you don’t want cordless a pair of human hair clippers is a option one of my freelancers uses these and with the plastic things that you use to adjust the cut she does a super job of the legs and things like that
