Smart half chaps for really, really stick-thin legs?!

I usually buy cheapie Shires half chaps but am fed up of them breaking. They're really hard-wearing apart from the damned fittings!! I have been eyeing up some Ariat half chaps (the leather and suede ones) but I think I may be murdered by my mother for spending that much on a pair of chaps

Can anyone suggest any smart, hard-wearing, not-quite-Ariat-price half chaps, bearing in mind my legs are stupidly thin?!

tredstep? thats what mine are - they where around £60 and come in loads of different sizes

I was going to say Arait. I have thin legs (narrow fitting long boots) and even I don't have the narrowest of the Ariat fittings.

Worth the money in my eyes, my boots and chaps are soooooooooo comfortable.

I love Tredstep, they come in so many sizes they are almost made to measure.

Anyone know where I can buy some stick thin legs!!!!!!!!!

definitely tredstep - I love them!

I have tried ariats, but sadly they don't quite make the right size for me - I have fairly thin legs, but also long - and they don't do a size which is quite long and thin enough.

Tredstep, however, fit like a glove. Not much cheaper than the Ariats, but probably £20 less, which is a worthwhile saving...

I've got little skinny legs and got some leather gaiters from Tuffa, they fit really well. Also got some suede Tuffa chaps which are great too

I like the tredstone gaiters, I paid £45 for mine and have had them for 2 years.
