Hi,
Ill tell you a bit about my pony..
His name is Mickey and hes 3 this year he is a 13.3hh tradition coloured cob, about 2 weeks ago we moved ponies to summer grazing, I knew it would upset his tummy a bit ao I gradally introduced grass by leading him over to graze inhand for half and hour day the week before moving which was no problem. But now he is on the grass he has had very loose watery dropping constantly ever since which also smell quite badly, I have to clean his bum and tail on a regular basis to avoid the dreadlocked effect. He is fed o mug baileys lo cal balancer and a handful of dengie good doer twice a day, he had a scoop of mint at night and 2 scoops of garlic in the evening feed. Someone told me he would get used to the grass but im getting concerned now that it had gone on for so long. For the past week he had been strip grazed along with my other pony a Shetland who is fine. They are out during the day and in at night and mickey had a large haynet of hay over night. He is well in himself infact very energetic even if he has his own special aroma of poo what can I do to help his poo? thanks
