Just wanted to pass on a recommendation for Smidge that Midge repellent!

We got it to try on our sweet itch horse and it has helped him, rode out today and sprayed all horses and people with it and it was a much more enjoyable hack than we had on Tuesday with no fly spray of any kind on!
It works against midges, horse flies and other flies :)

It's about £8 for a small bottle but one spray covers quite a large area and you don't need much of it at all.

We've just gotten a box of 12 for £80 which works out slightly cheaper :D

Saltidin, the same as Autan but it smells much nicer and I think works better and is (apparently) waterproof etc for 8 hours. We reapply before the 8 hour mark but never noticed it wearing off yet.
I used Autan when we went to the highlands and it did work but I would say Smidge works even better and definitely seems to work for longer.
