Not going to be a long report as don't have the energy! Left stupidly early this morning as I was so paranoid about the M25, even though my first dressage wasn't until 10.40 and it's only 40 mins away!

Thought both the sj and the xc were fairly small, although the xc did ask some questions.

First up William (in the PAVO qualifier), warmed up pretty uselessly, but got better on the nice going in our arena. Did his usual ok test, got dead on 60%. Then L dressage and, well, *smirk*..... *smirk again lots*..... he did a corker of a test, got 30.5 and LED the dressage! I've not done that since I was in ponies! Both then jumped show-jumping clears

. On to xc and William jumped round pretty well, we had a few hairy moments as I was trying to go fast - he got 14 time pen! Then L gave me a great round, really bold (for him) and honest! He got 16 time pen.

William ended up 10th and, thanks to a last minute extra starter, thus scraped the last qualifying place for the PAVO champs

. Liberty unfortunately lost his lead, but ended up 5th, winning his first points and some prize-money!

Pics going in gallery in a min...

Fantastic well done. looked for the results but they are not up yet!

When are the Pavo champs then? I take it you will be going now?

And well done to L shame about the time faults but as you say can't complain with that dressage and a double clear can you!!

They're mid-week at some point in October - he really will have to shape up a bit though as it'll be an intermediate dr test!

Thing with the time-faults is a few pro's got under 5, some got under 15, and most people seemed to get more than 20! To win I would have had to finish the course about 30 seconds quicker and I just don't see how I could do it

. But never mind, it's only his second time at Novice and we did still trot into 4 fences..

WOW!!!!

Brilliant results, you must be thrilled with them!
And well done for qualifying for PAVO, you must have been one of the quickest round that track, certainly wasnt a galloping course

18th on Lotus Eater, 37.1 dressage, 1 unlucky one down in the SJ and a stop + 14.8 time, but Rosie was quite pleased (it's her first novice with her).
8th on Just a Token, 45.7 dressage - a horse nearby went ape-sh*t and she followed suit to the extent that Rosie nearly fell off. They were pleased with the overall mark though as they thought it might be up in the 50s or even 60s. Then clear SJ and 4.4 time. Rosie was quite pleased with her too. (She's only really very pleased if she comes in the top three lol)

The time at Smiths Lawn is difficult as it's so twisty and mostly strung so you can't take short cuts. The pony had time faults at the PC event too.

Well done T-E and also Rosie.
