Not going to be a long report as don't have the energy! Left stupidly early this morning as I was so paranoid about the M25, even though my first dressage wasn't until 10.40 and it's only 40 mins away!
Thought both the sj and the xc were fairly small, although the xc did ask some questions.
First up William (in the PAVO qualifier), warmed up pretty uselessly, but got better on the nice going in our arena. Did his usual ok test, got dead on 60%. Then L dressage and, well, *smirk*..... *smirk again lots*..... he did a corker of a test, got 30.5 and LED the dressage! I've not done that since I was in ponies! Both then jumped show-jumping clears
. On to xc and William jumped round pretty well, we had a few hairy moments as I was trying to go fast - he got 14 time pen! Then L gave me a great round, really bold (for him) and honest! He got 16 time pen.
William ended up 10th and, thanks to a last minute extra starter, thus scraped the last qualifying place for the PAVO champs
. Liberty unfortunately lost his lead, but ended up 5th, winning his first points and some prize-money!
