Snake bite!!!!Australia

Pippi Puppi{whippet/ish] Is home from the vets after having been bitten by a brown snake yesterday,luckily we were there and when she collapsed, raced into town.The vet was waiting and after antivenine and a night in ICU she's home.All thanks to the vet{while not on call ]dropped everything and ran.

Oh no! Hope she feels better soon was bad enough when our lab got bitten on the neck by an adder (he looked like a staffie when we found him fingers crossed for your girlie!

Oh, no, this is one of my nightmares with our dogs here as well!! So glad you got her to the vets in time and fingers crossed for a quick recovery!

Makes you realise how lucky we are to only have adders in this country as a certain Explorer with a bull whip said in his first film I Hate Snakes

PippiPuppi,thanks you all for your kind thoughts etc and seems to be doing well,she has to go in for a bloodtest on Thurs as she has had blood in her urine.Will keep you posted.
