OH's mare is lame (not the funny part but it's not serious) and is on box rest for 1 month.

This means he has to go to his fancy, expensive lesson with his fancy international level instructor................on my 15h, half-arab pretty boy.

Yep, he's going from his strapping, serious 16.2h WB/TB “sport horse” to (his words) “a fashion horse” who's current trick is to stop dead and beg for a sugar when he thinks he's worked hard and been a good boy.

I want to take the day off just to watch...................and chuckle

Need to teach Small Horse more tricks methinks and go look for that spangly browband

Hee, hee. I'd LOVE to share it but I've got to go to flamin work.

It's the feet hanging lower than the belly that tops it for me.

The instructor is a very well respected, classical riding, crusty old French bloke - I'm not entirely sure he's going to "get" Small Horse's sense of humour.

Gotta go and tack up for the His Highness now. Spooking was high on SH's agenda this morning so it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with this evening - he gets heavy on the sighing if it's dinner time
