OH's mare is lame (not the funny part but it's not serious) and is on box rest for 1 month.

This means he has to go to his fancy, expensive lesson with his fancy international level instructor................on my 15h, half-arab pretty boy.

Yep, he's going from his strapping, serious 16.2h WB/TB “sport horse” to (his words) “a fashion horse” who's current trick is to stop dead and beg for a sugar when he thinks he's worked hard and been a good boy.

I want to take the day off just to watch...................and chuckle :D:D:D

That's awesome ... I sincerely hope you have put a blingy browband on your boy, as well as a bright pink sparkly numnah and matching bandages. And plait him up with ribbons, he has to look his best for your OH's marvellous instructor :p

Quality ideas :D

Would it be cruel to streak some glittery nail varnish through his coat?

Hmmmmm, I'm sure he bought a second-bridle with a diamanté browband.......:p

no way would it be cruel, you are just being kind turning him out so well for the important instructor!

*whispers as he's only in the garden picking at weeds*

He's about ride Small Horse for the second time today (worried dear?). Apparently, they had a "good discussion" this morning.

Need to teach Small Horse more tricks methinks and go look for that spangly browband :D:D:D

Oops, he's just come back............scurry, scurry

Lucky bloke, I'd love to be riding a 15hh Arab, anglo or otherwise.

The pink bling's a bits cruel though, don't you think........NAH! Pour on the PINK :D

Hee, hee. I'd LOVE to share it but I've got to go to flamin work.

It's the feet hanging lower than the belly that tops it for me.

The instructor is a very well respected, classical riding, crusty old French bloke - I'm not entirely sure he's going to "get" Small Horse's sense of humour. :o

Gotta go and tack up for the His Highness now. Spooking was high on SH's agenda this morning so it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with this evening - he gets heavy on the sighing if it's dinner time :D

Want me to pop down and video it for you Saucisson? I don't mind an hours drive for something that sounds so good! When's the next lesson??? hee hee heee.........

Hee, hee, they're only in Gembloux ;)

SH was disappointingly well behaved this evening, think he might win the instructor over with his charm and good looks :D
