Hey, our village has got many snotty people with lots of time on their hands, last weeks village paper had a letter from 'dog walker' stating how dog's have to be cleared up after & horse's therefore should too. it was a very snooty letter and i wish to write one back, any good ideas on wht could be written?
Thank you

it is not necessary for horse poo to be cleaned up (as a local dog walker near me was told by a mounted police man snigger snigger) as horse poo does not contain anything that could pose a threat to anyone or the environment as all they eat is forage (mainly) whereas dogs eat meat which if left can spread disease etc etc so yeah basically as above and an up yours at the end for good effect

Dogs poo can not be seen = more easily to step on

horses poo = you would have to be blind not to see it!!

tell them horse poo could be cleaned up - if the dog walker does it;) if they feel so strongly about it then they should pick it up!!

lol its simply not feasible to attach a wheelbarrow and fork to your horse when hacking

i found this info online, i tried to explain it in my own words but it didnt sound right....
Horse poo is just chewed and digested grass mostly. The reason why dog poo is so dangerous is because of the meat biproducts, parasites etc in it and also because it can cause blindness in children.

I try to avoid riding on paths as I know my boy is likely to leave a pile. A friend of mine was followed back to her yard with an angry townie in a car, who had bagged it up and brought it. What a nutter. It was on the road.
Dog poo is definately more dangerous, there is a name for the bacteria, but I would have to look it up.
I wuld have to be followed by a JCB on a long ride!!

You could suggest that if the writer has enough time on their hands to write snotty letters, they can go and pick up the horse poo and sell it as manure

Rode my horse down the beach and along past beach reasturants the nit wit dropped one right outside the door !!
Several tourists looked aghast whilst reasturant owner thanked me laughing saying he would pop it on his flower beds .

Ha

They should be sent for a weekend break at a hotel in the New Forest, there's horse poo everywhere from the turned out stock. Those people would have a heart attack from the sheer horror of it!

So are we all hopping over to No 10 Petitions website to sign the Petitions for horse owners to pick up their horse-poo?

Sadly, I am old enough to remember when there were Bin Horses and I was plonked on top on one (he was around 18 hands and called Teddy) when I was 3 ish. The people in the road could not wait for him to poo as they would all rush out with their shovels to put it on their gardens.

How times have changed eh??

Did you hear that there was a pile up on Winsford Hill today?

Two ponies pooed in the same place!!
