snow again in kent will i ever ride

I am in Kent and have given up on the prospect of riding my mare, seems like forever since I last sat on her! She is only 4 so bringing her back into work should be fun!

I can't even get to my horses at the moment as my little car can't make it through the ice

I’m in Kent too! I haven’t ridden for a week and a day and I’m not happy! There is meant to be more snow this weekend as well. I hate this weather so much!

Well keep thinking roll on summer and longer lighter evenings. Yep more snow and my boy is a clydesdale x coat like a mamouth but he hates it where as my warmblood loves to be out in it lol

I think I may have to send my horse to be re-backed at this rate!! There is no way I will be able to ride in the forseeable future, the lane outside the yard is white over and a steep hill - I couldn't possibly risk riding on it.
I just keep thinking about the nights getting gradually lighter and the spring on its way!

Yeh not good idea tackling a hill even on foot let alone hoofs lol, blessya im sure your be o.k. I have thought about beach as salt seems to stop freezing so would be o.k to ride along then it dawned on me i was having a dim moment that derrrrr id have to take trailer haha just noooooo way in this weather on ice, my 4x4 is spinning out the ice and snow is bad on the lanes. So no will have to wait tll spring to lol.

We've had snow since Dec 17th and it's getting a little boring now. I have a 3yo who is like an unexploded bomb. Fun times!

I'm back from uni, the only chance I get to ride and I can't so depressing. It's going to get worse in Kent too...

Im very near jobo and our school has been frozen solid for a week.

No way im going to be riding soon either given kents very dodgy forcast for the weekend and the cold tempretures are set to stay for at least another week or more ich means it ot going to melt.

My younster will have slipped backed weeks.

Rubbish isn't it! Ours have been stuck in for 3 days too, only getting 20 mins out twice a day when we muck out, but yes everyone is in the same boat I guess. Meant to be awful over the weekend too!
