Snow :D

NO and I have MASSIVE snow envy going on. Ok, so it was nice riding in a tee shirt and late 20's is very pleasant BUT I LOVE SNOW... am feeling very, very homesick :-(

I know you will all HATE me for enjoying the sun out here when you are all freezing and not able to ride but then when it's summer and it's late 40's you will all have the lovely English summer to enjoy.... Hmm, actually I'll just shut up now.

Snowing in Hampshire... How can you all enjoy it so much??? Real pain when the yard is 6 miles away and UPHILL! Not too bad this morning just a light covering but when I got up there there was a Subaru parked in my field!! having come through the hedge (and the fencing)!!! and two horses out there. Luckily they were too freaked to go near the hole in the hedge. Of course couldn't get in the yard gate padlock frozen, left stupid driver trying to defrost while I rushed in and hastily put up some electric fencing to stop horses getting onto road! Got his insurance details, he couldn't get out as all the gates were locked, otherwise I think he would have legged it! As I was arranging fence posts there was another shunt and another vehicle ended up parked in the yard gateway having been pushed there by another vehicle who didn't stop at the junction!!! Luckily the yard gate was open (and just ten minutes earlier I had walked my other horse across that bit of road!!!), doesn't bear thinking about. So I hate the snow - so all please ............shush about how much you love snow! (Wish I was in Jaipur in the sun). ;)

:0 omg, hope horses ok, thank god they didn't go and investigate, hope driver was ok. wow, lots been happening at your place today. Poor you, sounds as if you have been very stressed :( Bet you can't wait to get rid of snow

We had about 3-4 inches on Saturday and have had another couple here so far today. I'm off work as I'm self employed and most of the work I do involves riding out horses for people which I obviously can't do in this weather. :( Am lucky enough to have an indoor school to ride my boys in at the yard where I keep them and got the little ponies at home which is easier. :)

awwwww lucky you would love to have a indoor school :) not so good about not being able to work :(

Had our first snowfall through the night - just a couple of inches and as usual the roads are **** today. Why is it that when it rains or snows here or the weather is just a little bit crappy the road network here goes to pot?
Over the last few years I have become convinced that the Dutch driving test must be the easiest in the world cos from what I see every day they don't got taught anything!
