Taken this morning. My rising 5yr old RID exploring the drifts in his field. His wee face cracks me up when he comes back to me for reassurance

What lovely fun, 0urs are happy to hoof around in snow as well.

I am very grateful to our neighbour who has dug through the snow drifts across the lane with his tractor bucket this morning and bought up a load of hay for the boys. I did not expect to still need hay this late in the year, last year had too much grass at the beginning of April.

Who knows what could be lurking under all that white stuff...
Maybe your horse knows that in some parts of the world there could be a lemming lurking under the snow, and in general lemmings seems to be convinced that they can beat anything and anyone, even though according to Wikipedia they're only "7 to 15 cm (3 to 6 in) long"!
