My Springer loves going out for walks and she loves the snow.
BUT she seems to really struggle to walk anywhere without the snow getting between her pads and she spends half the walk chewing her feet. Yesterday she was doing some really strange things with her back legs... i can only put it down to the cold.
She is 12 now but doesn't act her age. She is also pretty much a three legged dog with one leg acting as a prop after an agility accident. Doesn't bother her but not sure it effects her in the snow...
Any tips for stopping snow getting in her pads much appreciated. I have trimmed all her feet of excess hair so not much more I can take off. I know you can get them snow boots but no point ordering them as by the time they arrive the snow will be gone!
Thanks in advance
