Snow horses

Snow has started down here in the south, contemplating weather to put my horses out while its coming down or to stay in today, what r u all doing with yours? x

My lad goes out regardless of the weather, he would not thank me for keeping him because of a bit of the white stuff! If I thought it was going to be heavy snow that covered the grass enough for him to not be able to eat it before I got home in the evening, I would leave him some hay to eat but he would still be out.

They love the snow. Mine is currently on box rest, but is very sparky having seen the white stuff, feels like hes missing out.

Out! Only if path to field is dangerous with ice etc but we'd find a way!

He was out 24/7 and loved it. Icicle whiskers....polar bear colour too. I sometimes couldnt find him. No longer with us & first winter without, but my dog loves it too. I am in Herts and we have snow.

Both out, they love it, cob is hooving up any snow that is laying rather than much hay

Mine would go crazy if I left him in with no good reason, he loves playing in the snow

Only reason i would leave in would be if i thought i would be unable to get back up to yard due to weather.
Although i would prob put out with hay just to cover that option.
Agree once it becomes ice then its too slippy but normal snow is great fun for ponies to play!

mine goes out. he loves to play in the snow. as long as he has hay out to eat then he is happy sadly no snow in cornwall yet
