SNOW IN OCTOBER??!!?!

maybe in alternative universe..................................if there is snow in leicestershire i will eat my hat :).............................................now i have said this i will now have a decision, brown sauce or choclate sauce which would go better with a skull cap:D:D:rolleyes:
 
I dont know about snow in october but it wouldnt surprise me. last year someone told me they had seen the forecast and there was snow forecast for the weekend...we all laughed as for the time of year it was beautiful weather and it just seemed ridiculous...we were snowed in for a week

There's been some hype in some of the rags recently about a nightmare winter with snow in Oct. The situation as it stands is that some parts of the UK - i.e. the Scottish mountains that usually see snow in October! - will do so this month. For the rest of us, we're looking at slightly lower than average rainfall and slightly cooler October/November than average but no freak snow predicted as yet.

It snows every month in Scotland. This batch is forecast for the North West Highlands - you guys can all relax.....us, not so.
 
Yes, our YO (farmer type) and to be fair he’s usually spot on with his weather predictions, I’m hoping however this he gets it very wrong.

We once had snow on Easter Sunday a few years back...crazy!
