Snow on Tuesday :(

Not sure about the rest of the UK but we are forecasted snow all day Tuesday with 30mph winds all week!!

I was 1/4 of the way to BSJA this morning (braved the wind!) only to be told by them that their power had gone off at the venue, it was pissing rain (in 30mph wind) and they were merging classes so they could get home. So I turned round and came home, glad I did as winds got stronger

Going to be a stormy week I think. On a good note, my horses new rugs came today so at least they are ready for it!
 
Oooh freaky, I just checked the weather earlier and was suprised to see its supposed to snow on tuesday. Didn't like the forecast of highs of 2 degrees, but with windchill feeling like minus 4 all day!

Jeez the weather is depressing for the next week!!! We're in the middle of re-fencing the winter turnout and it's taking much bloody longer cos of the weather...... Horsies will obviously need to starve for the next week or so (or be tucked up in their stables

you're a tough lot up there, must be to wear them kilts with no underwear lol. Haven't looked at the forecast for us down in the south but no doubt if we do get snow then the whole country will come to a stand still!
 
we're in Aberdeenshire on top of a hill and have already had snow this year, lying stuff too :-O!

More this week and we've had gales for days......this is the horses first winter up here and already you can see them trying to stay upright and looking at me as if to say 'What the blinkin hell were you thinking of Mum?!!!'
 
Mine have put their winter woolies on but.............its 14 degrees and damp

.Poor souls dont know what to do, sweat or shiver( temp drops during the night). Cant wait til we drop to minus whatever, at least we can dress accordingly

I shouldn't think it will stay for long if that makes you feel any better, then you'll have lovely slush. I would rather have snow anyday than rain, rain and more rain.

Snow forecast here Monday and Tuesday too, but it will come and go, if it comes at all. The ground is too warm still and temps aren't below zero at night and still around the 8-10 mark by day. Still hoping for a Green Christmas.

Yeah, snow shouldnt last long as rain forecast for days after. I dont normally care about snow but its the high winds also forecast with it Im worried about! Basically could be a blizzard

- I have 2 horses, 3 ponies and 2 (albeit large but not that large!) stables.... hmm...!!
