Snow?

Yep, it's been snowing here all day. Everything's white outside. I've got a hole in one of my wellies, and my new muck boots dont arrive til next week :(
 
xc weather is the most reliable weather site by far, very good on wind speeds etc, it was developed for cross country flying so they have to get the forecast right! Gives it every 3 hours for a week ahead and also gives background wind and gusting speed.

Sadly it's predicting snow for the next week for me and it was already 6 inches deep!
 
Was snowing this morning at about 6am here in Kent, only light so there was a little dusting on some surfaces. I love the snow, just not when it starts to melt and goes all slushy and icy!!

None here on the Essex/Suffolk border either. They have been changing their minds all week with the forecast, at the moment

Met Office: no snow until a light shower tomorrow night and again on Sat night
Met Check: rain this afternoon, rain tomorrow morning, snow tomorrow lunchtime, nothing tomorrow night or saturday night :rolleyes:
XC Weather: just damn cold
BBC: rain on saturday

basically I don't any of them have got a scooby whats going to happen!!! time will tell!!
 
Yes, damn it, it's here already! Had a light dusting last night, so went out in my PJ's to put more hay out. My husband woke me up this morning to say the horses were in need of more food and opened the curtain to a blizzard and lots of lying snow! Grrr it's only November!:mad:
 
We have a good covering here. Seems to have stopped for now but we have some ominous looking clouds overhead so I suspect we will get more later! From a practical point of view I'm not a huge fan but it is very pretty... :D
 
I live in stockton on tees my horse lives at my mum and dads farm about 1 mile away and it took me a hour and a half to get there this morning! snow really bad! home now with the heating on full blast!!

None yet thankfully, and hoping it stays that way, at least until my snow chains have arrived! Car is currently in the garage being fixed and praying snow holds off until i can get it back and get up to muck out the horses ready to bring in later, otherwise i'm officially buggared! :rolleyes:
