The white stuff is coming Friday

The farrier is also booked for Friday afternnoon !!
 
We have had it since Monday night was -16 this morning! It was very chilly didn't get above -5 all day. Ive just come in from late night haying

Ditto! The one I looked at today said light snow for the next week starting later tonight but everyone else keeps telling me we're not getting any till Friday and then we are getting LOADS!
 
Grr stupid phone, it's much colder waters freezing over in stables all ready. Mucking out was easy this morning though as all the poos were frozen solid!
 
Already had the white stuff since Sunday - snow mouse making quanties - Monday - enough to build a snowman.

The fresh snow I don't mind - it's the ice. :mad:

Met office and NBC weather on tv both say it's going to snow all day fri into Saturday here (Leicestershire). They have put warnings on the met office website. I don't think they will be 100% sure till tomorrow which I think is why they are hanging back a bit and not saying we are getting a lot of snow etc but just warning people.
We still have snow here from Monday. Cold temperature means it has barely melted. Just giving the ponies a break as cant ride so until weather looks like it is warming up, they can chill for a bit!
My dad says we are also forecast very heavy snow on Monday and he usually underestimates the snow. I'm not sure where he is getting his info from though.
