I was so stressed about them. Friday was going to be impossible. We were completely cut off by blizzard conditions and they are 11 miles away. So we gave them enough hay and water on Thursday evening for 36 hours and the next door farmer did a field check in his buggy when he went to check on his sheep yesterday. It dropped to -9 overnight last night. I had visions of finding them stuck in a snowdrift. But they were fine. He’s quite fat despite wintering out unrugged. I needn’t worry he’s fading away really.
