Dubs he already looks a happier chap for the attention, love and TLC he's had in the last week. I'm sure that despite his mud fever treatment being painful for him now, he'll be so much better for it in the long run.

It always amazes me that horses are so generous of nature, and seem to know when we're trying to help them.

Thanks for all the comments and good wishes. I'll pass them on to him when I take his feed to him in a bit.

It has to be said that the latest pic, on seeing it again this morning, is a bit deceptive - probably due to the angle it was taken from. The improvement in him certainly isn't as dramatic as it would appear to be, but it is there, even if it is only miniscule...

I am feeling worn out and am totally broke now, and have the EDT coming out this week.
So, if you see me on a street near you, sitting on a blanket, playing the flute, with a manky mongrel at my side, and a cap with a few coins in it in front of me, then please give generously.
