Please can someone recommend me a snuggy hood or similar type product??

My horse thinks he is a hippo and LOVES rolling in the muddiest patch in the field. He particularly loves getting it caked all over his face and ears. So much so i'm having to bath his head before even attempting to ride/groom etc. He is always the muddiest horse in the field!

Without a doubt the Snuggy Hood Turnout hood with ears and zip.

One of the best things I have ever bought.

Snuggy hood, theyre miles better quality than any other on the market. I'd get one with a zip as my pull over one was quite tight to get over my ponies head!
More expensive but fully lined and the eye holes were in the correct place! Had a Mark Todd one that rubbed and slipped about.

Snuggy without a doubt. Worth the pennies. I have 2 turnout hoods (2 horses!), a sweet itch hood and body (hmm a grey + mud needs some protection!)

Please don't get full face one with eye holes. My mare used to be able to see out of her left eye till a good fitting good condition one slipped. Vet says it's really common and doesn't understand why we use them.

Snuggy hoods are good, the turnout with ears and zip is fab, they did have them on special offer recently I think

They do come up secondhand on ebay too

Fit is absolutely vital, the ones that are the correct size fit my boy perfectly and dont shift at all, the one he had that was just a tiny bit too big slipped over his eyes when he tried to pull it off and totally freaked him out, it was lucky he wasnt hurt

If you do get one wash it with plenty of fabric conditioner, this helps to 'waterproof' it
