Snuggy Hoods Bug Body

I'm considering one of these for my pony and can see that they are pretty highly recommended. His rugs are a mixture of 5'3's and 5'6's and I'm not sure which way to go with this 5'3's tend to be that little bit too short and sometimes tight around his shoulders whereas 5'6's are better in length but slip back because they are slightly too big around his shoulders!!

Does anybody have one who could shed some light on which I should go for??

I would contact them. They are really helpful whenever I have contacted them. The one thing I will say is my chap is 6'3" and I bought a sweet itch body rug and it is too big around the neck causing the whole thing to slip round his body. He therefore only wears it in the box now.

my mare is normally 6'9- but the bug body came up too big and stretched around her neck- far too wide. so ended up selling it. definitely go for the smaller size

Mine was too big around the neck too and when it got wet it slipped back on him and the wrap slip down his tail. I got a 5'6 which he usually takes. I did take the neck in but the weight of it wet still caused it to pull back and it then started rubbing so I only use it now in emergencies. I'd sell it but it got a rip in it I had to mend.

I would measure first my old horse took 6'9 in his rugs and then snuggy was slightly too long, but fitted fine on the neck. The pony took 4'6 normally and the 4'6 fitted him great in the snuggy body he is rather rotund though.

I am going to contact them to see if they can make the 6'9 one a bit smaller for my new horse
