Spotted this mentioned on a thread recently and (i think) it's exactly what I've been looking for... Mine arrived in the post this morning and I can't wait to try it on my mare. Hoping I'll have a winter of clean rugs though I'm not sure my washing machine will be too delighted ;)

Anyway, what are the loops at the bottom of the rug for :confused: Are you meant to thread the surcingles through them?
 
If they're anything like bossy bibs, then yes the loop is for (normally the top) surcingle clip to go through.

Don't put the loop on the top of their withers like we'd find on a t shirt :p

Just looked on their website, did you get a bib or the full rug size?

The full rug. It's got a loop on the front of the chest, which i understand, was just checking as it also has a loop on each side at the hem, about elbow level.
 
I havent had one move an inch yet and I don't even bother using the loops mentioned above. They fit quite well and the fillet string is elastic and quite high up which helps keep things straight
 
I've got one, and the loops are for cross surcingles, but they are slightly too far forward for Alf, so i don't use them. It's a fab rug - and stays put beautifully.
 
haha, after all that I sold mine as I found it pulled back! I just use rambo liners when I can as they are easy to wash and a bossys bib under anything else ;)
 
Yes mine pulled back ridiculously too millie, so never did get to use it. Even sent it back to get it altered but still no good.
