Snuggy hoods tunout hood....any good?

Hi all,

I am wondering what people's experiences with Snuggy hoods full turnout hoods are? Im very tempted to get one having never really used any sort of hoods on my boy before...but every year i completely lose his mane and wonder if this may help aswell as keep him really snug and warm through the winter months...? Any experiences/thoughts would be much appreciated! I don't mind paying out the money if they are a worthwhile piece of kit!

I have a sweet itch hood and suit and am very pleased with it thus far..there is someone on here who has a real hippo of a horse who will swear by them :D
 
See i have heard alot of good things! I have actually tried my friends on him which is a large size, iv put a picture of him in it up in my album on here? Some people do tell some scary stpries of hoods gone wrong...so i just wanted to hear of some peoples experiences of them. I desperatly want to try and keep his mane and also keep him warm so i only have to clip him once as he is a sod! lol. Feel free to take a pic at the photo and see if u think the large is a good fit? Im new to hoods!
