Snuggy Hoods?

Does anyone own a Snuggy Hood?

Im thinking of investing,to help keep the boys clean!

just wonder how you rate them, I notice they just do a head version now too to be worn with full neck rugs.

Ive always been a bit worried about it getting twisted and going over their eyes ?

One of my liveries has two and they are brilliant - don't move, horses seem comfortable in them and they keep them clean!
Would recommend the ones with the zips...

thanks, I wasnt sure if I should get the zip version, are they robust?

Beau and lance dont bat an eyelid at anything like that so Im not bothered about pulling it on over their heads, just want it to be a good fit really.

I've used them for years, they are great quality and wash well. I think the turnout one is more versatile and hard wearing (I often use it in the stable when I have to plait the day before a comp). Def get one with a zip, they're much easier to put on/take off. Never had a problem with it slipping either!

Got a turnout hood with a zip which is a good fit, doesnt move and very tough, worth the extra in price IMO.

Got the zipped version which had to be made to measure as I own a giant! Also had them for my last horse. They are made of much tougher fabric than they used to be. You do need to wash them fairly regularly so they keep their shape. I think they're fab and really useful on those days when there's either time to ride or remove mud!
