Snuggy hoods??

Oh yes I love mine. This is its 2nd or 3rd winter & it's fine. They don't slip at all & keep the horse really warm... & clean! I've got the one with the ears & the zip.

Not sure if it's waterproof but it does seem to be showerproof.

Watch for electric shocks when taking it off...

I have a sweetitch one but he was turned out with a friend that liked to chew the part round his nose and the zip. He is just out with a pony now so have bought a nearly new one on ebay and see how it goes .They are not waterproof but dry on them OK. I wash mine quite often and empty the ears everyday as they get loose hair in them

They are totally brilliant, well worth the money IMO. I also use the 'indoor'' one before shows. They are also very helpful and will gladly chat away on the phone re sizing etc.

Oooh! Thats good to know, I bought snugy jams and the old girl ripped them in a week!!!

I was hesitant about the turnout hoods based on that, but now I think I'll give them a go!

Definitley worth the the extra imo, got a turnout hood and snuggy 'head'. The snuggy head was a bit expensive but does the job, plus I can now send them out to do cash in transit robberies to pay for it all

Any chance you can divert them to Thorntons?
OH calls any horse with a hood at the yard 'Zorro'.

Hee hee!!! Does anyone know whether they rub the mane off or not???

Erm yes, a bit, but TBH I think they all do to some degree. Willow now has a Bobby Charlton combover halfway up his neck but it was always thin from previous damage done by a Rocky combo. I think the 'head' is probably a good compromise, hasn't rubbed.
