Snuggy Turnout Hoods (Headless)

Hi All,
Do any of you have the Snuggy Jams Headless Turnout Hood? I'm thinking about getting one for Jasper as he has quite a few rugs without necks that he could use it with. I have a couple of questions:
* How warm are they? Would it be suitable for winter/summer use or both?
* How waterproof are they? The website says "heavy shower proof"?
* If they do get wet, how quickly do they dry?
* Do you know of any cheaper alternatives?

I have recently bought the headless turnout with zip and have found it keeps my mare reasonably warm at the moment so not sure if it would be suitable in the summer. We have had awful rain today and it was nearly dry when I took it off this evening and will dry in the morning, so far I'm inpressed with it

I've taken the plunge and ordered one today! I'll report back on how we get on with it (and post pictures of Ninja-Jasper with it on! )

also try the equi-snood and equi-cosy! Much cheaper if going under a full neck turnout and you could always use niwax polar proof to shower proof them

Here's a pic of Jaspy sporting his new hood! Ordered it yesterday, it was delivered today! They were really helpful on the phone too - great customer service!
