Had a lovely hack. Waited till 8pm as was too hot earlier on. Himself was very well behaved tonight, must be to make up for his naughtiness the night before!!! I like the company of my horse so really don't mind going out on my own. A bit of me time after a long day at work.

Yep....short hack in the woods....but old lad was mighty jumpy/spooky/twitchy cos he kept getting bloomin' midges around his face...and sides....and bum.

.....so I made him do a tiny weeny bit of schoolwork when we got back.

Then I threw him back in the field and went home for a takeaway.

Being an unsociable grumpy old woman I prefer hacking on my own

Having said that nobody at our yard can keep up with my lad in walk, so have to keep stopping him and waiting, we both get fed up with that!
