...like so many of my country men(Americans,) I don't know where 90% of live in Great Britain! Kent, Sussex, The Midlands, etc(I know where London is,,...and I did go to universtiy,) but I am ashamed to say I don't know my British Geography AT ALL!

I am going to tape a map of the British Isles up on the wall next to the computer.

i used to go out with an American.......him and all his mates only knew where London was! So i wouldn't worry! Oh and they also knew where they lived (on a military base in Cornwall!)

I am English and I would be hard pushed to name all the Counties! I don't even know how many Counties there are

Not something I recall doing in geography lessons at school.

I know where most places are vaguely (especially if there is a racecourse there) but Scotland ,unless it's Ayr, and Ireland have me stumped.

No, not finished...FED UP! I am having a hard time doing anything lately...I have fun stuff to do too. Oak kitchen cabinets, fireplace in dining room...

I tried to take a jog this morning, turned around at the mailbox...

I am going to drown myself in french fries and mayonaise(traditional Tuesday Night Dinner,) with my son. Tomorrow I'll have him all day and pony club so I'll be happy(I'll have something to complain about...)

Ohhh...know the feeling. After several years of house renovating, Ive moved to my final house. It needs painting but I just cant be bothered. I had a decorater come round earlier in the week and am waiting for the quote!!! how lazy am I!!

So the exercise isnt going well either...not good, but hey, I cant really talk! Out to the pub tonight though, so thats a bonus.

Should really be doing some work (they sent a laptop home for me), but cant get motivated. Just sat in front of the christmas tree at the moment, with log fire going, so may have a nap!

Well one pointer I have is that Scotland is NOT England and also the UK is NOT just England! Honestly, the amount of times an American has asked us where we're from and we say "Scotland" and they reply something like "oh Id love to go to London" or we say "the UK" and they reply "Oh I have relatives in England, it looks like a lovely place!". Ummmm......

I must admit I don't know many places in England and no nothing about Ireland...!

As you might expect Southampton is is the South and Eastbourne is in the East BUT Northampton isn't in the North - it's in the Midlands, and as for Middlesex that's nothing like you might expect
