You know I much prefer the idea of scrapping all these lovely big warmbloods and tb's and things from competing. Everyone should ride a Shetland Pony round badminton as they can be beaten to within an inch of their lives and no one cares! They would be going under the jumps as they couldn't get over them. Their dressage scores would be attrocious as you can't school them. And as for the show jumping - Thelwell style anyone?!?

Yeah, bit they need to have had time to get to the olympics to make sure they have the right experience to go round badminton, so that adds time on waiting for them to come around

oh and we need a banned list. Mark Todd obviously. Old and given to dangerous violent outbursts. William Fox Pitt's a bit tall if you ask me. And Mary King's past it too. Oli Townend might hurt himself....

To be honest, there's something wrong with you if you can't vault on a shetland without a pole. You should go and see Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks. They never pole vault onto their shetlands. Ever.

Indeed, apparently, even Lucinda Fredericks has got to go, as she didn't get off quick enough, and clearly she's the worlds worst at keeping a tricksy little horse fit and well and up to the mark, and needs all the advice we can give her. NOOOOOOOOOT.

That's ok! I'll just bribe the vets with ridiculous amounts of money and chocolate to pass them sound because they sure as heck won't be after the beating they recieve every day! Plus you wouldn't need to buy them! I would be paying you to take the darned things away!

But my dear! This really is no laughing matter! We are having a serious conference as to how Badminton's rules will be changed for the better in the future! And you never know, if they are a resounding sucess we may even press for them to be instated at every Horse Trials!

I am on the very brink of starvation trying to squeeze into my jacket for the weekend and have become delirious through lack of food
Note to anyone who hasn't competed since before uni (8years or summat like that) you will NOT be able to get your jackets out of the cupboard and fit into them. Even though you have four in difference sizes, none will be big enough. Or your long boots. I have actually bust the zip on my boot trying to get it on this week and am going to have to get the blooming electrical tape out!! My cream breeches saw me in half and my shirt gapes over my boobs. It is not going to be a dignified sight!
