Have to share, rode my boy last night for the first time since he scared the be-jayus out of me months ago. I have posted before about him but basically, he was just broken, they had him fed up to the gills, and he was mad as a hatter! I changed yards and they have worked their magic on him and the horse that i fell in love with is back! I am bringing him to sales at the end of the month so i wanted to ride him before he goes. Just for my own confidence. We had a great lesson and I know he will make a craking horse for someone. Am happy with my decision to sell and so chuffed with myself that I rode him before he goes!

Thanks cloudhorse, i rode terribly, made loads of mistakes but at the end got some really nice transitions out of him and more importantly, got over my fear of him. Its silly really, he is quiet as a lamb and i am fine around my mare just he really knocked my confidence.

Yayhheee.... I am not as completely useless around horses as i was feeling!!!! Just hope I get a good home at the sales for him. I am not going to be there as I think that would be a really bad idea and I will end up coming home with him, and more worryingly a lorry fully of every poor soul that wouldn't sell on the day! Kinda defeats the purpose! Friend going to bring him for me.
