Herc is coming back- he is not right for these people, they feel he is too big.
What am I going to do with him now? He is far too big for me to ride, at 17.2hh I feel he needs someone with more leg, and possibly more understanding about the whole "shiver" thing.
He went well for my dad, but he doesnt have time now and really I just want him to go to a good home, looks like hes going to be a field ornament for the next 6monthes now. WHY? Just one of those things that im feeling crap about, he deserves better than this, his shiver is so much better when he is in work. Poor guy.

Gord that didnt last long did it. That is ridiculous, they knew the size of him and to themselves etc etc. Why waste peoples time and everything. Can you tell me about him, looks my sort xx

He was a readyfield horse. He has a shiver in his back leg which he has had all his life. Its gets worse when he isnt in work, which he isnt atm, but he has never been 100% sound. My vet told us it was better to keep him ridden, this way the shiver causes less of a problem to him, when he was hunting it didnt bother him at all. But now been in the field for so long he needs so much work, and I just dont have the time

Well I could do, but my stables are full, he would have to be up in our summer stables by himself and im not sure he would settle up there alone. Ive just reached my end with it all.

He should easily find somewhere, he is a gorgeous horse. he looks like he would look after you, I really do like him though, his type is what ive been looking for and could not find, xxx

Could he be hunted by a relative novice at all? I know of someone looking ( a man without a huge amount to spend). He's nephew of the Master of our local hunt so not without experience).

Aw hun no wonder you are fed up, I am sure Herc is also fed up with it aswell, poor little man. Can't you offer him out on loan? I hope he goes to someone who is understanding about his shiver, I am sure he will be snapped up soon, he is a gorgeous lad.

my dad would like him i wreckon, but we sont have the money for another horse and your too far away!!
but i'm sure there would be lots of people who would buy him? he sounds lovely! hope you find him a good home soon.
