So ..... does anyone want to hear my news .....

But, I do have to make a little thank you speech.....

To the person who forwarded me the advert as soon as it popped up on her PC website - she is a user on here, no that sounds very bad, but you know what I mean.

To my PC DC who got me a fab reference as she is friends with the DC of the branch Cameo has done rallies with.

And lastly to the Great Aus, who put up with a lot of rain and me warbling on and constant texting/emailing. I had never met her before, and she has given up her time to come horse shopping with me. How amazing is that? :) xx

Lovely, I'm really pleased for you (& jealous in the nicest possible way!) Hope you have many great years together. Fab choice of breed too, not that I'm biased.

I might add that, lovely as he looks in the video - he has matured and grown up considerably since then, and is a really smart little horse. He's a really really lovely chap who oozes quality - but without being remotely hot or complicated. He got dragged out of his box, ridden in lashing rain, by three different people, and he just got on with it. Lovely attitude, and a really nice person. I sense great things ahead!

Actually there is one more person to thank, and that is the lovely girl who has brought him on and produced him so beautifully over the last year or so. There is so much potential, but nothing to correct - how refreshing is that? :)

Awwwwwww good ole Wobble and Flop :D (*ducks*)

Thank you - he is an overgrown pony, but has great paces. He is exactly what I wanted. :)

He's what any sane person would want! Very pleased for you...

Now, let's all raise our glasses and drink a toast to many happy years for you all!

(any excuse for a drink ;) )

Ok, ok, you win!!

Cameo - 15.2 (but actually looking at him again today still a little bum high so will probably grow another inch). Connie x TB. 5 years old (2007 foal, but actually 5 in a couple of weeks). Grey gelding. Total dude. I'm completely and utterly in love, so don't listen to a word I say. Auslander will no doubt give a far more objective opinion (although I think she loves him as well ;)). Flew through vetting today and arriving on Sunday. :):):)

Hurrah! So, so, so, pleased for you . . . can't wait to see "welcome home" pictures xx

Ps I loved your acceptances speeches ;)

So did I!

I was surplus to requirements really. She didn't need me - it was patently obvious that he was Mr Perfect from the moment we walked into his stable.

Actually - not QUITE perfect...he's too small for me to ride!

:) I'm not sure he is that small - we tried my dressage saddle on him today and it was about 8 inches above his back as it was so narrow for him (medium fitting) - he's a chunky chap!

I dont see that as a problem. You put it on him, and I'll plonk my huge bottom on it - that'll make it fit!

What a lovely looking horse - just my type, overgrown pony types are the best!
Congratulations - I hope you have many years of fun together!
