So excited - Louis is going to be famous!

Horse Magazine are going to run a feature on Louis and I preparing for our first dressage to music class - it's such a great opportunity for us; we'll have a top dressage trainer (we don't know who yet) giving us a lesson on the flat, then a second session to find suitable music and choreograph a routine, the third session will be with a composer to fit the music to our routine and then they will do a report on our first competition! They'll be following us from Dec through to the competition in March. Really excited, will be great to have another goal to work towards while we're preparing to compete at medium. Dressage to music seems like so much fun! So a big thanks to Horse Mag

Hi Happyhack - think it is likely we will need to travel to wherever the trainer is based but it will be within a reasonable distance - especially as poor Katie is pregnant! (Not poor katie because she's pregnant but because she's pregnant and driving us!! hehe)

Look forward to seeing you both there but before that maybe you can give me some tips on the music........I have listened to tooooooooo many CD's ..I think we need our own musicians!!!

I saw a post in new lounge from Horse Mag saying they were looking for peeps to follow for a series, one of the features was about preparing for your first dressage to music so I emailed them and here we are

I am trying to make the most of the Lou Monster before his mummy wants him back hehe, he has been such a clever boy lately and poor Katie is itching to get back in the saddle, I don't blame her!

Carthorse - I shouldn't think you have to worry about us, I am already thinking what if I spend too long in halt at the start, miss the first beat and then it all goes to pot haha

Thanks xx yeah Katie was really keen for Lou to do some music classes and now we get expert help in preparing for it so she is really chuffed for us
