With the help of MrsJingle I have been in contact with a dealer who owned my lad at one point, he's going to try and help me find out more info about him and is really glad to hear where he ended up 
His name used to be "Cookie" ha ha! 
Hopefully with his help I'll be able to trace him further back/forward
My mum's mare's previous owner got in contact through facebook, she had her from 6months old to 7years old and she's delighted to hear from us, she was heartbroken to have to sell her and thinks about her every day
We now know she is part arab! 
And her old owner is going to look out some old photos for us
It's all really exciting!
