so excited!! my new pony arrives tomorrow!!!

i feel all nervous and excited at the same time! my mare moves on to her new home about 1.00 and then my new boy is coming about 3.30.

i feel very excited as i've had no end of problems with my mare and i know she's going to a good home. but i also feel very nervous about my new boy in case things go wrong. having been there before, i so want it to work out ok.

also feel quite nervous about getting to know another pony and building that trust up again. think i'll ride out with friends for a few times will we get to know each other.

what problems did u have with ur mare? just out of interest!

mareish, spooky, nappy and rears if ridden out alone. scared of hosepipes, having her jabs or wormer in her mouth. difficult to catch on occassions. took a looooooooooooooooooong time to gain her trust as she'd had a bad past. altho she has some fantastic points too. been wonderful in the school with my kids bouncing about on her. given me the confidence to try jumping again after a 17 yr break. and i have learnt so much through having her and coping with her quirks. we will miss her, but i'm also looking fwd to having a happy hacker that's easy to handle. ;-)
