my accident prone TB is very broken again
frown.gif
first her swollen knee, then her elbow, her fetlocks are becoming arthritic on her hind legs. and after a worrying phone call last night from the farmer emergency vet came and found another massive absese on her only semi good leg

she got painkillers which he said would do her until 4 o'clock today when he's coming again but she's really sore already and just looking down right miserable i feel so sorry for her

after all the things tht have gone wrong with her since we've had her on loan the vets not sure i'll be able to have her totally in work again. they think it's maybe best just to have he retired and let her live her days out comfortably in the field.

obviously let her owners who live way down south know what's happened and she really didn't seem that bothered

just said she couldn't help me financially or have her back (not tht i want her to go back she fine staying here even if shes a field ornament ) starting to wonderif she was always an accidental horse and owner might not of told me the truth bout her history vet wise

goin for xrays and bone scans sometime next week so fingers crossed

Horses huh.

My boy has been broken for a month now and we are anticipating an October re-start......I have now worked out that due to my injuries and now his I have not actually ridden properly i.e. off a lunge rein! for a year.

Sorry that the owner is not being supportive as the one thing that has kept me going over the last month is the support of my trainer, vet, OH and horsey friends.

Hopefully all will be well and you can have the holiday....we are due to go to Cyprus on the 8th and I am looking forward to the break knowing that ponio will be happily eating his head off in his paddock and will not give me a second thought apart from wondering why he is not getting a regular supply of carrots and bananas.
