i have this horrible feeling that some of you are now hyper ventilating over your laptops but i have to tell you that before i became a real person smelling of horse pee and covered in pooh i worked in fashion and trust me when i say that beige should be reserved for cashmere coats and your front room decor, white should never be worn under the bright lights of Tesco when you rush in for that desperate bottle of wine and navy should be reserved just for school gym nickers. so that leaves black , and while i admit to it's cellulite hiding properties i have a yearning for some cool autumn colours, soft stripes in , i don't know. mint green and bitter chocolate, something bright and cheerful for those dull early mornings, i don't always want to look like i work for the Rac or dina rod so if you have some secret outfitters that i don't know about and that can stop me resorting to zebra prints and polka dots please if you have any mercy in you spill the beans!

i once saw a pair of very cool stripey Hacked Off jodhpurs second hand on e bay but i was so knackered after doing the horses that i fell asleep and forgot to bid so if anyone here bought them ' damn you ' they had MY name on them!!!

What? Are you having a laugh shady?

Have you not got a mail order catalogue such as Robinsons or such the like? There are breeches and jodhs in every colour imaginable. Go to town!

Maybe not mint green and bitter chocolate but that was so last season darling.

At the Windsor horse show a couple of years ago one of the shops had jods in PINK camouflage!!!!! I almost bought a pair, just for the comments I knew I would get:D

you cruel woman!!! i was so excited for a moment there and them i remembered that i am really poor!

Sorry! :o
Do keep an eye out on eBay (and german eBay), especially if you're a very small size - the kids/teens ones are much cheaper when they come up second hand :).

These are a bit cheaper but still brighter:

Or just do what I do and ride in jeans! The Topshop Leigh are very good as they're very stretchy and not restrictive.
