To those who don't know been having some hacking issues with Andy lately, here's a link to the thread:

http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=446554

I was planning on taking him out again yesterday but never got around to it due to some personal circumstances. I wasn't in the right mind frame to be dealing with Andy being a pain.

So today I lunged him, not hoping to achieve much just for a bit of down time for me. He was working so nicely, was really stretching down and using his back and I can really see his muscles working now, especially in his neck.

I then took all the gear off him and thought I'd play a bit of join up, but before I had the chance to send him away he was just following be around like a lost puppy, he trotted when I ran and stopped when I stopped.

It was just nice, going to give him a bit of a schooling session tomorrow then Wednesday is Bluechip  wish us luck, Andy can do it if his numpty rider sorts herself out. :)

Sorry a bit pointless but I have a bit of faith restored now.

p.s I now have google chrome which has a spell check so hopefully my spelling won't be as awful as normal. You still have to cope with my crap grammar though :D

Aww happy that things are better for you. I found weirdly that my mare enjoys it when I sing to her and she comes up and snuggles with me. Good luck for wednesday, you'll be fine :)

Oh bless him....

I love that - when they're pure 'Mum.....don't leave meeeee'!!!

Congrats on having a good one with him. Good luck with everything upcoming!!

Oh - my mac has an auto spell checker on it, it hides just how awful my spelling is!! But I am a total grammar nazi I hate to admit :o

I don't even know why my grammar is so awful. I shouldn't really so A level English. My coursework was swapping between tenses in every sentence. :p

Well he is back in the good books, lets hope he stays that way. :D

That great that you’re feeling better about it all Koko 80) Have a great time at Bluechip. I look forward to seeing hundreds of photos of both you and Andy with happy faces!

Glad things are looking up for you again! Good luck with everything

Just to add, I also did A level english Lit, came out with a B, and I have terrible grammer and spelling aswell! ;)

Ahhh the highs and lows of horses!:D

im the same as you, when im down I wonder why i bother and when Im happy I feel like a champ!lol

Remember we all get days like that. If im not feeling very positive or a bit stressed I dont ride that day as it just translates to your horse and makes for a bad ride. Just get on board with no bad thoughts in your head-forget what happened yesterday....

best of luck with the show- I'll be expecting a thread with lots of pics of Andy flyyyyying over jumps lol :D

I keep having lots of up and down days lately, I'm hoping once the weather gets better it will just be lots of ups :)

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I have two camera men coming on Wednesday so will have tonnes of pics and lots of video! :)
I'm rather worried as well as its the biggest I've done with Andy, talk about throwing us in the deep end! :L
