Sorry for complete pointless post BUT could literally swing off the rafters today - everything is just coming together so well for myself & my Mare.
Some of you may have read re my issues on confidence, feck confidence couldnt be bothered anymore about it!!
We have had our ups & downs, falls, spooky moments etc - frustrations all round, so we are aiming to do a dressage league in December and today Instructor said our walk work would have been clearly an 8 or 9 and our trot work an 8.....Oh & just to mention we are off hunting next wk - said by the person who couple mths ago sweated up @ the thought of jumping!!
Moved my Mare to Full Livery & best decision ever made - she has turned into a total dote, who knows who her " Mummy is" thats for sure!!!
Know most who read this will think " so what but for us its a phenominal achievement" My progress with her is a marathon NOT a sprint - ultimate goal is to event her though as she has bags of potential

getting new one next wk BUT here are a couple taken when I finally got the courage to hack her out with a very good friend of mine who works in the yard ( only recently ) - !! We had to ride through fields of horses, risk of deer jumping out, had to navigate paintball obstacles including an army tank!!! I was shaking when we set out - and nearly turned back when she started " Dancing" when we went through first field but pushed myself through the mental block & WE Did it I felt so relaxed spent the last part of it with my reins like skipping ropes ( Know not right but I had the confidence to know she was super chilled out ) ... she was incredibly flighty & unpredictable when I got her & would just take off with no warning!! Will get flatwork ones next wk as she has an incredible step - plus will test the helmet cam out hunting next wk.
