SO chuffed things are finally falling into place and going well with my mare.

Turned up at yard in a bit of a down mood....my youngster came to call, was an angel to tack up and lunge, got on, and had a walk round paddock followed by a length of trot!

Only other horsey people understand the little things like that mean so very much!! I used to walk around grinning after each little step when I was backing my boys...no one understands unless they've experienced it! Well done and onwards and upwards now! :D

Really chuffed for you. Well done both :) Know just how you feel, its wonderful when things go right and the absolute pits when they don't. Wishing you the best with your progress, expect your youngster was pretty pleased with herself too.

Well done you - Last year when I started hacking my girl out - everything was relayed to OH in tiny detail...
and then we wealked past a plastic bag, and then we trotted, and then a bus came, and then we went past the psyco sheep and then ,,,, and then,,,,

:D

Ah it's a great feeling isn't it!

I had a similar one with my boy last night, practicing listening to me! lol! Only horsey people understand and only people who have (had) youngsters understand how complex some of the 'simple things can be to get right!

I had that lovely happy glowy feeling last weekend so I understand totally how you feel.
My chap fist time out cc sailed over everything like a pro with control, where as previous years we have had a battle.

Makes all the downers worth while enjoy x

I was so please, i dont know whether the turn around has been from the physio she had out the other day, whether ive done something differently, or whether its a change in her, she seem's to really have settled and has become such a mummies girl!
